Le Temps, and its main partner Romande Energie, had the pleasure of hosting the Sustainable Start-Up Award ceremony on Thursday 23 May. Launched in 2018 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Le Temps, Le Prix SUD aims to reward a Swiss start-up whose core business model is based on a sustainable product or service. Following a call for applications from 75 candidates, three candidates were shortlisted. SOLARSPLIT's project won over the members of the jury and the public, making it the winner of this 6th edition. 

 The winning start-up will benefit from a 6-month membership to Impact Hub's co-working spaces, an in-depth analysis of its activities by our editorial team, as well as ongoing support for an entire year to develop and implement an effective communication strategy (in the form of workshops with experts).

At the awards ceremony, Dominique Mégret, Director of Ecorobotix, presented the various ways in which innovation can be saved in Switzerland. His speech was followed by the ceremony at which Christian Petit, Managing Director of Romande Energie, presented the trophy to SOLARSPLIT, and the evening continued with a convivial cocktail.
